With a few days late, it's time the laxanteCULTURAL disclose your choices of the best films of 2010. Before that, let me make a brief assessment of this year has meant to this space. 2010 should be the year that this blog to assert as a space for consultation, dissemination and discussion of film and other arts and cultural activities. Unfortunately, on a personal level, I experienced some difficulties not allowed me to achieve all the goals he had envisioned. However, nevertheless can have a growth, although irregular, was settled very positive. Cultivate a group of readers and friends who have remained faithful to what we do and enlarging this space to facebook , participating in meetings with other blogs of its kind (the first meeting was organized by Nuno Reis's premiere and took place in Fantasporto, extending later by other spaces and festivals), and mainly have a voice in the discussion mainly cultural and film which I think is healthy and growing need in the daily struggle to be waged in the dissemination of culture in general and cinema in particular. Thanks to all who were then visiting the laxanteCULTURAL and especially those who contributed to the discussion and dissemination, with comments, arguments and contradictory 'tastes' on facebook. It is a promise and not the intention of defraudarmos, and devote myself to bring more and better content in 2011. On a personal level, I have some thanks: When Jorge Lima, the Xigli and Thesis Orange , which continues to address the technical and visual this blog, making it all possible. Also a special thanks to James Ramos of the splitscreen and again at Nuno Reis, for having, so spontaneous and caring, published this article I wrote on the death of my father.
