
Like it did last year , I'll bring you one by one, the five Oscar nominees for Best Short Film Animation in their full versions, for an analysis and prognosis is more reasoned. And the best way we started: with the latest short film from Pixar. "Day & Night" was the film that preceded the screening of "Toy Story 3" in theaters, so it is the best known of all the nominees.

When Day, a guy happy and sunny, knows Night, dark and secluded, things do not go well due to their different natures and appearances. But on realizing that both show different versions of the same reality, completing, will rise a solid friendship.

As with all Pixar films, this is another wonder of 3D animation. Each image of the film is rich and consists of three realities that test the viewer's attention and force multiple viewings. Characteristic of the Pixar short (those who do not leave the previous feature films, such as "Cars" or "Monsters Inc.") is the total lack of dialogue (although that a voiceover, which only highlights what we viewing), using only the images to tell stories fascinating and universal, escaping the narrative clichés and technicians. This makes the short Pixar as important as long, and this great little film, Teddy Newton is no exception.
