The ceremony took place at high speed, giving no opportunity to occur many times the dead. The awards were presented at a ceremony with no pauses, no dazzle, was well presented and without major incidents (except for the F Bomb Melissa Leo). Especially some strong presences as Kirk Douglas, Eli Wallach, the deserving standing ovations, and Billy Crystal to show why it should be the host of the ceremony lifetime. The musical moments were short but fulfilled their mission well.
As for the awards highlight the 2nd to the 20th victory appointment of Randy Newman, for best original song, who starred in the most hilarious speech of the night. The surprise of the night turned out to be a victory for "The Speech of the King" in the categories of best director and best film. Failed my predictions that gave the winner "The Social Network". Positive point for four Oscars for "Inception" (as many as the winning film), my favorite. Interpretations, no surprises, won the big favorites. Last emphasis on "True Grit," which left the ceremony without any of the 10 Oscars it was nominated for.
In short, there was a great ceremony, although it is not boring as in previous years. Not be in the story, or the creativity or the belt. Thanks to those who followed my comments on facebook. For years more preferably Billy Crystal ...
