Finally, comes the trailer for "Shutter Island" by Martin Scorsese. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane ("Mystic River" and "Gone Baby Gone" as well as three episodes of the excellent series "The Wire"), relies on the interpretations of Leonardo DiCaprio ("Revolutionary Road"), Mark Ruffalo ("Blindness "), Ben Kingsley (" Schindler's List "), Emily Mortimer (" Match Point "), Michelle Williams (" Brokeback Mountain "), Max von Sydow (" Minority Report "), Jackie Earle Haley (" Watchmen ") and Elijah Koteas ("Crash," the Cronenberg's), among others. Set in 1954, tells the story of a U.S. Marshal (DiCaprio) who investigates the disappearance of a murderess (Mortimer) admitted to a hospital for the criminally insane, and presumably hiding in the remote Shutter Island.
Only the trailer can be seen that the film is excellent. Intense, dramatic, scary, disturbing are adjectives that come to mind. And, interestingly, the Scorsese film me most is to see this trailer is the "Cape Fear". There will be many similarities in terms of story, but the intensity, the interpretations, the emotions you will for the viewer and the art direction, seems to be close to that one movie with Robert DeNiro and Nick Nolte. Unless the trailer has nothing to do with the movie, but that are artifacts that Scorsese at this point in his career, no longer need.
