"The desire of the man is for the woman, but the desire of the woman is for the desire of the man." Madame de Stael

After two years of gestation, has finally arrived in stores a very special edition of "Femina" by The Legendary Tigerman, alter-ego one-man-band Paul Furtado, singer Wraygunn. And it's a fantastic album (like everything that makes Furtado)! It is available in attractive digipac that besides the disk itself, it also brings a DVD with short films that Furtado made himself invited to the disc in an attempt (achieved) to show the women behind the artists. But let the record ...

"Femina" is a hard-dedication of a man who loves women and approaching them through music. But more than a sensual and seductive album, a disc coupling, disc one is honest and devoid of prejudice, a disc of homage and gratitude for the inspiration and desire that women inspire you. And these are special and hand-picked: Asia Argento (in 2 subjects), Maria de Medeiros, Peaches, Becky Lee (in 2 subjects), Rita Redshoes (in 2 subjects), Pier Sodré Cabaret, Lisa Kekaula, Claudia Efe, Phoebe Killdeer, Mafalda Birth and Cibelle. All lend voice to the songs and feeling in a manner beyond reproach, with certain doses of sensuality and desire (and in some cases, lust), it is impossible to highlight benefits or even to the detriment of other songs. "Femina" results in a hard solid, homogeneous and blameless, where the blues of Tigerman (a stunning work of composition and technical execution) win from first to last note. As a work-in-progress, since Tigerman recorded 21 themes do not want to stop here (up to record with Marianne Faithfull, at least), made me curious and eager for more. You have reached the 3rd place in top sales week of release, after "Amalia Today" and the compilation of Madonna (next conquests Tigerman?), And deserves at least remain so for long. Do so (you can hear some of the themes in the myspace of Tigerman) and will also see him live.
Rating: 5/5
