Ok, I'll be honest ... I never saw the cartoon series that led to the 1st movie. I do not know the imagery associated with, nor have any interest in extraterrestrial metal that become conventional machines. So I saw the first movie with the detachment with which I see at the outset, all movies. I knew some pictures of the cast and director, and tried to see a story that would support the minimally interesting pyrotechnic apparatus. Obviously I sanded. "You had to know the grade," he told me a friend of mine. No, did not, I say. There was not able to identify robots or unaware of their hierarchies that made me dislike the movie. It was only the fact of being a bad movie. A pair of "Pearl Harbour", is the worst movie of Michael Bay. And as silly. And the stupidity of the movie that annoyed me. All sequences in which appears the FBI agent played by the excellent John Turturro, for example, are so silly they make him look like a bad actor, based on the principle that a good actor can make any scene into something credible. The first film's writers (Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman) were able to demolish this theory. Michael Bay does not expect major works (although "The Rock" and "Armageddon" or even "Bad Boys" are my guilty pleasures and "The Island" is not a bad movie), his style of fireworks, never bothered as much as the first "Transformers". And call it fireworks, for which I attach the same characteristics: Greatness, lots of color and sound aggressive, high costs, few minutes and hypnotizing the viewer a sense that nothing has changed in us when it's over.
But all this is just me. It is obvious that many people like the genre and I have nothing against there being offer for all tastes. Therefore, and since this blog is democratic, today I bring you the images that led to Michael Bay ShoWest. A scene and a lot of fireworks in just over two minutes.
